——Wild Tea, Rare & Superior:
Wild tea trees yield limited quantities but exceptional quality. This Shou Mei was crafted from tender spring leaves, gently sun-dried to preserve their untamed, mountain-grown essence. Sunlight, breeze, and time work in harmony, creating a tea with a bright amber liquor, silky texture, and lingering notes of honey and herbal sweetness—perfect for both drinking and aging.
——Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Wild, earthy, with hints of dried fruit and subtle medicinal fragrance.
Flavor: Smooth, mellow, and naturally sweet, with a robust aftertaste.
Body: Thicker and more layered than cultivated white tea, offering 2–3 times the depth and longevity.
——Brewing Guide:
Gongfu Style: Use 5g per 150ml. Rinse quickly with 90–100°C water, then steep for 5 seconds, gradually increasing time.
Grandpa Style: Add leaves to a large pot, steep or simmer freely. Chilled brews are equally delightful.
——Why Wild Tea?
Wild Shou Mei’s coarse leaves and stems harbor abundant aromatic compounds and pectin, evolving like a cherished companion—unassuming at first, yet revealing profound depth over time. Aged white tea is revered as "tea for a year, medicine for three, treasure for seven." After five years, its sharpness mellows, while beneficial flavonoids and polyphenols flourish.
