Origin & Heritage:

Produced by Deng Dayan Tea Co., Ltd., located in Zhangping’s core Shuixian tea region with 180 acres of eco-friendly tea gardens. The century-old brand "Deng Dayan" was recognized as a Fujian Time-Honored Brand in 2022. Its award-winning teas make it a key player in Fujian’s tea industry, now helmed by the third-generation heir, a municipal-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor.

Cultural Legacy:

Zhangping Shuixian’s craft is listed in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. Originating in the Qing Dynasty, farmer Liu Yongfa discovered wild Shuixian trees in Fujian and fused northern fermentation with southern oolong techniques, creating the compressed square tea. Its seal-like shape and orchid-osmanthus aroma earned it the title "Poetry in Oolong." In 1914, it won silver at the Panama-Pacific Expo for its "distinctive form and enduring fragrance."

A sip of timeless elegance.
